State of Querétaro registers 58% progress in the construction of vehicular underpasses in San Juan del Río / @makugo @gobqro >>>

#EstadoDeQuerétaro.- Governor Mauricio Kuri González supervised the works being carried out on Avenida Tecnológico, in the eastern zone of the municipality of San Juan del Río, regarding the construction of two Juárez-Morelos vehicular underpasses, a work that is 58 percent complete and will benefit the mobility of more than 150,000 inhabitants who travel through the area.

During the tour, Kuri González was accompanied by the Secretary of Urban Development and Public Works (SDUOP), Fernando González Salinas, who explained the scope of the modernization of the railroad vehicular underpasses and the relocation of high, medium and low voltage installations; he informed that so far 14 out of 16 piles of a length of 16.40 meters have been installed.

He specified that the project consists of the construction of two bridges: one with a 25.8 meter span and the other with a 28.06 meter span, which as a whole are 51 percent complete; he added that work is also underway on the rehabilitation of 1,728 square meters of hydraulic pavement, the installation of eight bridge lights and three truncated cone-shaped poles.

It should be noted that this new road infrastructure is part of the mobility project that the current state administration is promoting to generate development and jobs, actions that contribute to the competitiveness of the region and the state, with which it continues its efforts to improve the quality of life of the people of Querétaro.
