#SEP.- In order to achieve equity, equality and inclusion in the community, the education sector must work in unity, and with the great responsibility to meet the challenges of the knowledge society, said the Secretary of Public Education, Leticia Ramírez Amaya.

Inaugurating the work of the National Meeting of Directors and Centers of the Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM) 2022, in the facilities of the Tláhuac II campus, she invited the directors of the institutes and research centers of the institution to promote a culture of peace and to combat violence in all its meanings.

Accompanied by the Mayor of Tláhuac, Berenice Hernández Calderón, she asked the TecNM school community to make available the work and technology they develop, to share protocols and proposals that will help achieve peace and progress in the country.

She emphasized that the 250 institutes of the TeCNM have an enrollment of almost 600 thousand students, which implies a major responsibility, since the student population exceeds that of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN).
