#SECTUR.- Accompanied by the ambassador of Panama in Mexico, His Excellency Alfredo Armando Oranges Busto; the ambassador of Belize in Mexico, His Excellency Oscar Lorenzo Arnold; the president of the Association of Secretaries of Tourism (Asetur), Juan Enrique Suarez del Real Tostado; the secretary of Tourism of Puebla, Martha Teresa Ornelas Guerrero; among other authorities and entrepreneurs; the head of the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) stressed that this exhibition will bring together about a thousand exhibitors and is expected to attract almost 8 thousand visitors.

Also, during the three days of this event will be attended by national and international buyers, tour operators and service providers from the states of Guerrero, Morelos, Puebla, Tlaxcala, Nayarit, Jalisco, CDMX, Querétaro, Hidalgo, Chiapas, Coahuila, Tabasco, Sonora and Quintana Roo, as well as delegations from Belize, Bolivia, Cuba, El Salvador and Panama.

The Secretary of Tourism highlighted the enormous natural and cultural diversity of Veracruz, such as its UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the pre-Hispanic city of El Tajin; the Center for Indigenous Arts, in Papantla; the area of historic monuments in Tlacotalpan; and the Ritual Ceremony of Voladores, named Intangible Cultural Heritage.

«Veracruz also stands out for its fairs, parties, carnivals and festivals, where joy always reigns. And, as if that were not enough, it has 36 municipalities with a tourist vocation, including 6 Magical Towns: Orizaba, Coscomatepec, Xico, Coatepec, Papantla and Zozocolco,» he said.
