#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- The World Heritage City of San Miguel de Allende inaugurated today the XXVIII International Jazz and Blues Festival with a show by the Romanian Jazz Trio, «JazzyBIT», at the «El Nigromante» Cultural Center.

This fusion of various styles such as Jazz Funk, Jazz Rock and Latin Jazz was witnessed by dozens of San Miguel residents and visitors, who were welcomed by Juan José Álvarez Brunel, Secretary of Tourism of the State of Guanajuato, accompanied by José Antonio Lozoya Téllez, founder and director of the Festival; and Teresa Urtusástegui H., deputy director International Jazz & Blues Festival.

«We could not have a San Miguel de Allende like the one we have without these expressions and without this audience. San Miguel de Allende is recognized for its multiculturalism and for being a cosmopolitan place,» said Alvarez Brunel.

This year, the XXVIII edition of the festival presents a program of international stature that concludes on November 20.

On Friday 18, at the Ángela Paralta Theater, «Whitney Shay Blues Band», singer who has been awarded 5 consecutive times as «Best Blues Performer» in the city of San Diego, California, will participate and will be sharing her most recent discographic production among other classic blues songs.

At the same Theater, on Saturday 19th, we will enjoy an afternoon performance by 2 talented world-class tap dancers: «Sarah Reich», producer and instructor who has been a member of the «Postmodern Jukebox» project, originally from Los Angeles; and Nico Rubio, choreographer and instructor from Chicago who has performed in several continents.
