#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- The economic reactivation in the municipality of Boca del Río is progressing steadily, as Mayor Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal emphasized after the recent edition of the ‘Buen Fin 2022’.

«We had full restaurants, full shopping malls, likewise hotels, a significant increase in sales in department stores, expectations were exceeded in this Buen Fin,» he said.

He said that his government has supported all economic sectors of the city, favoring stability, as well as the creation of new businesses that generate more jobs in Boca del Río.

It is worth mentioning that prior to the beginning of the Buen Fin, the municipal government coordinated with the three levels of government, so that all the citizens of Boca del Río and citizens of the metropolitan area, will make their purchases, as well as services with full security from November 18 to 21.

The mayor added that according to the Tourism Department and according to figures from the Association of Hotels and Motels of Veracruz and Boca del Río, there was a 90 percent occupancy rate, considering the long weekend holiday on November 20.

On the other hand, in terms of economic revenue, according to figures from the CANACO Servytur of Veracruz, the metropolitan area had a revenue of approximately 1.2 billion pesos, exceeding the figure for 2021.
