#León, #Gto.- During the City Council session, the municipal president, Ale Gutiérrez offered apologies to members of the trans community and the bicyclists collective for mistreatment by the police.

Ale Gutiérrez acknowledged the facts and said that she will continue working to be an open government and to have public servants better prepared to serve the citizens with humanism.

«It is true that we are not perfect. We can make mistakes along the way, and it is important to recognize this in order to take actions to improve our performance,» she said.

Likewise, the mayor pointed out that from the first minute the Administration has respected the citizens’ expressions, which are necessary for a democratic state.

«We have the obligation of unrestricted respect for human rights, so these attitudes cannot be justified and cannot be repeated. We will not tolerate it,» she added.
