#Iztapalapa, #CDMX.- Accompanied by the Secretaries of Federal Education and CDMX, Leticia Ramirez Amaya and Rosaura Ruiz, as well as the head of the Federal Education Authority, Luis Humberto Fernandez Fuentes, the Mayor of Iztapalapa, Clara Brugada delivered financial support from the program «123 Iztapalapa Manos A La Obra Por Mi Escuela» to 500 public elementary and high schools in the district.

The amount delivered amounts to 150 thousand pesos in the first case and 200 thousand pesos in the second, resources that can be used in the areas decided by the school assembly for maintenance and/or improvement of their electrical and plumbing installations, painting or adaptation of new spaces, among others.

This action is in addition to «Caminando Por Tus Derechos», «Una Mirada A Mis Derechos» or «El Agua Es Mi Derecho», which provide school shoes and glasses to students, or water treatment plants to schools located in areas with water shortages, respectively.

In this way, we support the right to education of children and young people, providing them with better conditions to study.
