#SECTUR.- While participating virtually in GMA’s year-end event, the head of the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) acknowledged that this organization is the umbrella organization for all travel agency associations, and said that for this reason we are proud to work as a team in various activities, such as coordinating the Hosted Buyers that will attend the 47th edition of the Tianguis Turístico, which will be held from March 26-29, 2023.

He emphasized that «for the first time, the most important event in the tourism sector will be held in Mexico City, which I assure you will break all the records of the 46 previous editions. We are working together for the common good and for the professionalization of travel agents».

The Secretary of Tourism acknowledged all the presidents of the associations that make up GMA, a prestigious organization made up of hoteliers, tour operators, travel agencies, among other service providers that are part of this important industry, for the important role they played, so that after two very critical years in which the tourism industry was extremely affected, it has finally emerged stronger.

He indicated that SECTUR is working on the development of more infrastructure and new products that respond to the expectations of an increasingly informed tourist, so that, together with the private sector, this rate of growth can be maintained.
