Alfredo del Mazo promotes the development and protection of women in the State of México / @alfredodelmazo @Edomex >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- In order to continue promoting the development of women in the State of Mexico and offer them more protection, Governor Alfredo Del Mazo Maza delivered the Regional Center for Rural and Indigenous Women in San Felipe del Progreso, which will provide its users with the opportunity to receive training, as well as legal, educational, health and psychological services, among others.

The state president pointed out that this Center is the second of its kind in the State of Mexico, since another similar one is located in Aculco, and said that, in the case of San Felipe del Progreso, the purpose is to improve the training of women caregivers, since they support families by taking care of people with disabilities, minors or the sick.

«We are delivering what is this Center for Rural and Indigenous Women, in the municipality of San Felipe del Progreso, it is the second we do in the State of Mexico, the first is in the municipality of Aculco and what this Center seeks is, in particular, to support women who are dedicated to care, the caregivers who support families, who support people with disabilities, who support the sick, who support small children and help them to carry out these activities, to recognize the work, the effort they make, to accompany them», she emphasized.

During his working tour in this municipality, where he was accompanied by the Secretary for Women, Denisse Ugalde Alegría, and by the Executive Vocal of the State Council for the Integral Development of Indigenous Peoples (CEDIPIEM), Diana Pérez Barragán, the Governor emphasized that the opening of this new site is part of the actions that during his administration have been aimed at protecting women from violence.
