$SEP.- The management of the National Education System is not based on the work of a local authority and its government proposal, but on the work carried out with the coordination and accompaniment of the national education authority, emphasized the head of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), Leticia Ramírez Amaya.

At the inauguration of the Northern Zone Regional Meeting in Tijuana, Baja California, she called to assume the complexity of the country and the importance of education, so that teachers know the educational policies that are being promoted and, by themselves, generate the change that is needed.

Accompanied by the governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, she explained that the purpose of the meeting is to share common perspectives for 2023; to exchange information on the situation and the route to follow for the educational transformation from the New Mexican School, and to work in a coordinated manner throughout the country.

«It is intended to build a regional and national educational interlocution, because finally geography counts, and in a country as diverse, as broad, as pluricultural as ours, the regional issue marks us. We have general issues, but also of each region, and the idea is that you have that permanent coordination.»
