ICATI closes 2022 with more than 155,000 Mexicans trained / @alfredodelmazo @Edomex >>>

#SE.- In 2022, 155,500 Mexicans received training from the Instituto de Capacitación y Adiestramiento para el Trabajo Industrial (ICATI).

In the same vein, 89 thousand of them attended the job training program and 66 thousand 500 people attended the on-the-job training program, informed the General Director of the Agency, Jaime Rebollo Hernández.

He pointed out that this figure represents the confidence of the people of Mexico in the training institution, where eight out of every 10 students are women; which is why 2022 was a successful year.

«In 2022 ICATI also increased its infrastructure, going from 63 to 65 Job Training Centers and currently the entity has 47 Schools of Arts and Trades (EDAYO) and 18 External Training Units (UCE), thanks to the coordinated work of the three orders of Government,» he stressed.

Rebollo Hernandez added that the EDAYO of Villa Guerrero, a school specialized in floriculture, and the UCE of Chapultepec are examples of the growth achieved in the year that ended.

He explained that the decentralized agency, through its campuses, offered on-site courses of the job training program and modified its teaching scheme in the last semester of the year, to offer Saturday and Sunday courses, with bimonthly duration, in four-hour classes.
