#GobiernoDeMéxico.- At the conclusion of his weekend working tour to supervise the progress of the construction of the Mayan Train, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador reaffirmed that in addition to a station, garages and workshops will be built in Escárcega, Campeche, where the trains will be maintained.

«Juan Escárcega was an engineer who worked in the construction of the southeast train in the middle of the last century, that is why the station bears his name (…) We are going to continue making history», he expressed in a publication on his social networks.

He recalled that, from Palenque to Cancun, the Mayan Train forks in Escarcega. This strategic project will be inaugurated in December of this year
