Heads of Government and SICT inaugurate Chontalpa-Entronque Choapas-Ocozocoautla highway station / @jorgenunol @SCT_mx >>>

#SICT.- The Secretary of the Interior (Segob), Adán Augusto López Hernández, representing President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and the Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), Jorge Nuño Lara, inaugurated the Estación Chontalpa-Entronque Las Choapas-Ocozocoautla Highway section.

In his speech, the Secretary of the Interior emphasized that with the President’s transforming vision, this work represents a great step forward for the development and rescue of the southeast of the country.

«It is an honor for me that the President has instructed me to accompany the Secretary of Infrastructure and the three governors to formally inaugurate this highway which, for the inhabitants of the three states, represents a long-cherished dream,» he said.

The head of the SICT pointed out that it is a great satisfaction to deliver this important highway work, which had been stopped since 2011, and that with the Federation’s Expenditure Budget it was resumed in June 2019 to be completed on October 17, 2022.
