#SEP.- The Mexican Government’s educational project proposes the expansion, promotion and development of the country’s public universities and its main foundation is to strengthen young people’s access to Higher Education, said the Secretary of Public Education, Leticia Ramírez Amaya.

At the head of the Third Ordinary Session of the Deliberation Space of the State Commissions for Higher Education Planning or Equivalent Instances (Escoepes), together with the governor of Tlaxcala, Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros, she pointed out that the government of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador recognizes education as a human right, which must be valued as such by society as a whole, since it is essentially a collective process and not an individual one.

He informed that the Escoepes meeting, attended by representatives from 27 entities, is being held to build planning, dialogue, consultation and consensus to agree on the necessary actions to promote the development of Higher Education in the country.
