AEM and UAEH join forces to develop space projects in Hidalgo / @jorgenunol @SCT_mx >>>

#SICT.- The Mexican Space Agency (AEM), a decentralized agency of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT), will develop space projects in partnership with the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (UAEH).

The general director of the AEM, Salvador Landeros Ayala, and the rector of the UAEH, Dr. Octavio Castillo Acosta, signed a Memorandum of Understanding towards this objective, thus formalizing their mutual interest in promoting education and the development of space science and technology in the state.

The space projects that will be made possible include research and exchanges, as well as four-monthly stays for young people from Hidalgo at the U.S. space agency (NASA) and other agencies around the world, by virtue of their agreements with the AEM.

The instrument also opens the way for the development of educational products and/or postgraduate studies in space, as well as participation in space projects and satellite programs, individually and with other universities, institutions or companies, in the country or abroad.
