#EstadoDeVeracruz.- Veracruz meets the logistics and production challenges necessary for the installation of the Tesla car production plant, assured Governor Cuitláhuac García Jiménez in a formal message to request that the entity be considered as the investment point.

Backed by the Secretary of Energy, Rocío Nahle García, and Senator Ernesto Pérez Astorga, he informed that he sent a missive to the head of Economy at the federal level, Raquel Buenrostro Sánchez, detailing the potential of the Veracruz territory in natural, energy and logistics resources.

«We are the state with the highest availability of water resources (30 percent of the country). We have deep-sea ports in Coatzacoalcos, Tuxpan and Veracruz, in the latter 60% of the vehicles manufactured in Mexico are exported; from here the movement of oil and derivatives cargo is registered thanks to its strategic geographical position and connections to the main markets with 30 shipping routes.»

Regarding connectivity, Garcia Jimenez recalled that there is a railway system that connects the east and southeast with the center and the capital of the Republic, facilitating the exit and entry of raw materials and manufactured products; he added that soon the state will be the state with a connection between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans through the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.
