#EstadoDeGuanajuato.- The Secretary of Government, Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, leading the ceremony of recognition to defenders 2023, stressed that Guanajuato has professional women and men of law who provide legal advice and accompaniment to people facing processes before the law.

«From the Ministry of Government, we are deeply proud of the work they carry out, because in each matter they deal with as defenders, they demonstrate their commitment to empathy and closeness to the citizens, because we are an important part in the access to justice.»

«We are committed in this State Administration, to be an inclusive Government Secretariat and we have demonstrated it in different areas of the public defender’s office, we have worked on a Guide for the Criminal Defense of Indigenous People, so that this sector of society, have access to justice in conditions of equality and protection of the rights of culture and language, of their indigenous peoples and communities,» he said.

This committed work of the Public Defender’s Office, pointed out the Secretary of Government, is demonstrated in each attention to the citizens in different legal issues that require comprehensive legal attention.
