#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- A group of families from the Tepozanes Housing Unit in the municipality of La Paz, which was affected by the 2017 earthquake, received their new homes in the municipality of Tecámac, as part of a National Reconstruction Program of the Federal Government, in coordination with the state and municipal governments.

It should be noted that the relocated neighbors inhabited a high-risk area in the aforementioned municipality in the eastern part of the State of México, for which reason they had to be evicted. Now part of them will reside in Tecámac.

The land was acquired by the government of the State of México and the Secretary of Territorial and Urban Development (federal) was in charge of the construction project, while both municipalities collaborated within the scope of their competencies.
