#Tlalnepantla, #Edoméx.- In order to raise awareness among young people about the importance of preserving the environment and promote knowledge in this area among the higher education community, the Government of Tlalnepantla began the «Cycle of Conferences on Environmental Matters 2023» in educational institutions in «Tierra de En Medio».

While visiting Conalep Gustavo Baz, the head of the Environmental Department, Fidel Rodrigo Velázquez Escalera stressed that for the Municipal President, Marco Antonio Rodríguez Hurtado, it is essential to promote, promote and strengthen efforts, strategies and actions to mitigate the effects of climate change.

He pointed out that environmental policy is currently included in all governmental decisions and programs, through the Municipal Climate Change Council, in which cross-cutting actions are taken and considered, that is, actions that affect each and every area of government and, consequently, Tlalnepantlense society.

He said that all government actions in environmental matters require the active and decisive participation of young people, since they are the ones who have the opportunity to give their opinion, do and propose on the many issues that affect the care, protection and preservation of the environment.
