Issste distributes 232 pieces of equipment to medical units in Baja California / @drpedrozenteno @ISSSTE_mx >>>

#ISSSTE.- As a result of the visit by the Director General of the Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (Issste), Pedro Zenteno Santaella, 232 pieces of equipment were distributed to clinics and hospitals in Baja California. This continues the strategy of strengthening the institute’s medical units in the country.

Fausto Loera González, the sub-delegate of Administration of the agency in the state, recalled that during the recent work tour, the head of Issste instructed to expedite this delivery of supplies and materials that help medical personnel to attend 226,159 affiliates in the state.

«Dignifying the units and providing a comfortable space with the best conditions, offers security to the beneficiaries that we are working for their wellbeing in a comprehensive manner. It is not just a matter of providing medicine or a consultation, but of making them feel good, cared for and comfortable within the facilities they use.»

He informed that on March 31, the General Director’s order to repair the restrooms at the Family Medicine Clinic (CMF) «Mesa de Otay», which had not been maintained for about two years, was fulfilled; in a short period of time a space that was urgently needed to provide humanistic service was remodeled.
