#ÁlvaroObregón, #CDMX.- «If we compare the first quarter of 2021, when we were not yet governing, against the first quarter of 2023, we have a 32.6% reduction in the incidence of high impact crime,» said Mayoress Lía Limón.

She added that, according to data from the Mayor’s Office of Citizen Security and Justice Procurement, the Blindar ÁO strategy is increasingly effective and the results show it: «these actions demonstrate that Blindar ÁO is a strategy that works, which is why we will continue to reinforce it every day. Today in Álvaro Obregón every day neighbors walk and feel safer,» she stressed.

In this way, he said, the mayoress’s office remains among the first places in terms of security in Mexico City.

She reiterated that this year the number of police officers and motorized security units will be increased, so that the actions will translate into a better quality of life for the families of the district.

It is worth noting that in the first 15 months of government, the incidence of high impact crimes was reduced by 20%; likewise, comparing the first quarter of 2022 against the first quarter of 2023, there was a reduction of 11.67%, which is added to the 20% of the previous year, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the measures adopted by the current administration, added the mayoress.
