#ISSSTE.- After 25 years without having built a hospital in the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (Issste), today five are being built with its own resources, informed the General Director, Pedro Zenteno Santaella, while supervising for the third time the construction works of the Hospital Clinic (CH) in Palenque, Chiapas, and the General Hospital (HG) in Tampico, Tamaulipas.

He said that two HGs are also being built, one in Tlajomulco, Jalisco, and the other in Torreón, Coahuila;

In addition to a CH in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, and in May, the Regional Hospital of Acapulco, Guerrero, will begin construction.

«The resources are destined and are from the people’s contributions, which, managed with honesty and transparency great things can be achieved, because we are only simple administrators of their money.»

We are working on the new Issste, modernizing its facilities so that they are adequate and dignified, in addition to expanding its infrastructure for the benefit, not only of the affiliates, but also of the personnel, so that they have the necessary elements to perform their work, he commented.
