Once again, Benito Juárez is the safest municipality in the CDMX and the second safest in México: INEGI / @STaboadaMx @BJAlcaldia >>>

#BenitoJuárez, #CDMX.- According to the results of the National Urban Public Safety Survey (ENSU), from January to March 2023, 80.6 percent of its inhabitants said they felt safe in the district.

According to INEGI’s National Public Safety Survey, the Benito Juárez municipality has been positioned as the district with the highest positive perception of safety for more than 2 years in 10 consecutive measurements, in addition to once again occupying second place among municipalities nationwide.

With this, it is demonstrated that the Blindar BJ strategy, implemented since the first administration of Mayor Santiago Taboada in 2018, is a benchmark in terms of security, this being an example of a civilian police model with the ability to deal with crime, without the need to resort to militarization.

In this sense, the district continues to improve consecutively, since, according to the results of the National Urban Public Safety Survey (ENSU), from January to March 2023 it retained 1.2 percentage points of positive perception, with respect to the first quarter of the year, that is, 80.6 percent of its inhabitants said they felt safer in the district.

Given the positive results that Blindar BJ has yielded year after year, the mayor of Benito Juárez assured that he will continue to invest in this security strategy, which, with technological innovation and police intelligence, in this second period, continues to strengthen and improve the proximity strategy with a steady downward trend in the crime rate.
