#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Commissioner for the Search for Missing Persons of the State of Mexico participated in a conference for members of the National School of Forensic Sciences (ENaCiF) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

During the conference «Context analysis in the search for missing persons» he detailed the importance of the participation of the government orders, as well as the civil society, to implement adequate legislative, administrative and budgetary measures in order to strengthen the search tasks.

«For us it is very important as students of Criminal Policy and students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Law, to have this kind of knowledge because it turns out to be an issue of national importance, so we unite both academia and public entities, which is the practice and can give us a broader picture on the subject,» said Marcela Lopez, a student of the Master’s Degree in Criminal Policy at FES Aragon.

At the Facultad de Estudios Superiores (FES) Aragón, it was explained that context analysis has become a key tool to understand cases in a comprehensive manner without isolating them from other phenomena or events occurring in the social scenario. Hence the challenge for students to provide solutions and elements to strengthen searches.

«The students who are currently studying for a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree will have to solve this problem, and these lawyers will have to be public prosecutors, private or public defenders, victim’s advisors and they have to know how all these instruments are being developed and what they can use,» said the Director of the ENaCiF, Zoraida García.
