#SE.- The Government of Mexico, through the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS) and the Ministry of Economy (SE), successfully concluded the seventh request for review notified on March 6 by the Government of the United States under the Labor Rapid Response Mechanism (MLRR) of the Mexico-United States of America-Canada Agreement (T-MEC).

As part of the internal investigation carried out by the STPS regarding possible acts of anti-union discrimination and employer interference by the company, the labor authority confirmed that, during the review period, three union democracy procedures were carried out where workers expressed through their personal, free, direct and secret vote their agreement or disagreement with their collective bargaining agreement, the terms negotiated in its comprehensive review and also elected the union that best represents their interests in the administration of the collective bargaining agreement.

It should be noted that the intervention and accompaniment of the STPS, the Federal Center of Conciliation and Labor Registry and the local Labor Court of the State of Querétaro, guaranteed that these processes took place in a framework of legality, freedom and impartiality. In addition, Unique Fabricating proactively assumed various actions to ensure the validity of the rights of freedom of association and collective bargaining in the company, committing to maintain its neutrality and comply with the standards established by the 2019 Labor Reform.
