#SECTUR.- The fifty-fourth edition of the National Congress of Pediatrics CONAPEME 2023, to be held from May 11 to 14 in the port of Acapulco, began with a large national and international participation.

The support that Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda provides to meeting tourism generates social and economic welfare, with the realization of this event is expected to be an economic spill of 40 million pesos, this activates the tourism value chain and the chain of suppliers of the meetings industry.

This medical event for pediatricians will bring together 5,000 participants, among them the most outstanding professionals in pediatrics, not only from Mexico but also from Spain, Argentina, Colombia and the United States.

During May 2023, important national and international congresses on Orthopedics, endoscopic surgery and robotic surgery have been held in Acapulco, attended by more than 6 thousand congress participants.

In his speech, the Secretary of Tourism of Guerrero, Santos Ramirez Cuevas took the opportunity to recognize the pediatricians and thanked for choosing the port as the venue for the 54th National Congress of Pediatrics CONAPE 2023.
