#Celaya, #Gto.- This Thursday, May 11, the Senior Citizen Coordination of the DIF Celaya System celebrated ‘Mother’s Day’ to the beautiful ladies of the elderly who are served daily at Casa Día.

«What a pleasure to be here with you to wish you a Happy Mother’s Day. Mrs. Rosita sent you a warm greeting, a hug with much affection, because for her it is very important that you are all enjoying your stay at Casa Día, where we are always working for you,» said the director of DIF, María del Carmen Núñez Mares on behalf of the President of the Board of Trustees, Rosa María Suárez de Mendoza.

According to Adriana Cárdenas Ruiz, DIF Celaya’s Senior Citizen Coordinator, every day from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. about 100 seniors are attended with different activities, from physical activation, breakfast, handicraft workshops, knitting, literacy, cachibol and even choir, completely free of charge because the only purpose is to seek the integration and socialization of Celaya’s seniors.

The rondalla Bohemios de Corazón de Casa Día performed some melodies for the moms who enjoyed the great event sharing bread and salt in an atmosphere of fraternity and joy.
