#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- With its two new public schools, this Teacher’s Day Tecámac celebrates 100 new high school teachers.

The opening of Vocational 19 of the National Political Institute and the Tecámac Unit of the National Technological Institute (Tlanepantla) has increased the educational offer in this demarcation and consequently the teaching staff.

The teachers are added to the 1,092 teachers of this educational level who work in the 44 schools of this territory, and who together with the more than 5,000 teachers of other levels were honored and recognized this Monday on Teacher’s Day.

Last February, the first stage of the new facilities of Cecyt 19, «Leona Vicario», of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) was inaugurated, which has a staff of 73 academics and an enrollment of 1,745 students.

Although this campus opened its doors provisionally in 2020, the first stage was inaugurated last March, in which the Aeronautics Technician and Construction Technician careers are taught in the area of Engineering and Physical and Mathematical Sciences, as well as the Food Technician in the area of Medical and Biological Sciences.

The educational offer in the municipality was also expanded with the start of courses at the Instituto Tecnológico Nacional, Tlalnepantla campus, Tecámac unit, which is in the process of receiving applications for admission and being part of the first generation.
