#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- Given the increased risks when surfing the Internet, health personnel from the DIF-Tecámac system undertook an orientation and prevention campaign for students to make them aware of the use of the network and the possible dangers they could face.

According to the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), during 2020, 21% of the underage population suffered cyberbullying.

During the «Ciberbullyng» talk, students from the official secondary school 778 and elementary school José María y Pavón were advised on how to be cautious when navigating and avoid visiting sites or contacting people that could put them in a risky situation.

With the information provided to the students, the DIF of Tecámac seeks to eradicate violence through social networks, identify harmful behaviors and detect if any minor is in a dangerous situation.

The talks have a duration of 90 minutes and address the following topics: What is cyberbullyng, psychological damage, legal consequences, psychological treatment and dynamics for the prevention of this practice.

These meetings are provided in different schools in Tecámac, and those interested can request them at the central offices of the DIF located in the administrative unit on Aranjuez Street, Villas del Real.
