Caring for the environment is a joint responsibility: CESPM / @MarinadelPilar @BCGobierno >>>

#EstadoDeBajaCalifornia.- World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5, and 2023 is no exception. This date commemorates the importance of protecting and preserving our natural environment, as well as promoting actions that contribute to the sustainability of the planet.

The Comisión Estatal de Servicios Públicos de Mexicali (CESPM) emphasizes that this day gives citizens the opportunity to reflect on the environmental obstacles we currently face, such as pollution, deforestation, habitat loss and lack of water, among others.

It also suggests the adoption of individual and collective measures to promote a more sustainable lifestyle that respects the natural environment.

In this sense, he pointed out that World Environment Day 2023 provides the perfect scenario to carry out a series of activities worldwide with the aim of raising awareness in society of the importance of protecting our environment and adopting measures to mitigate climate change, conserve biodiversity, promote sustainable development and protect natural resources.

Finally, he stressed the importance of governments, non-governmental organizations, businesses, communities and citizens in general joining together in a joint effort to promote conservation and sustainability, recognizing that every action makes sense and that we can all be agents of change to build a greener and healthier future for future generations.
