Education Week 2023″ concludes with the participation of 1,400 students from Tijuana / @Montserrat4T @gobtijuanamx >>>

#Tijuana, #B.C.- This Friday, June 2nd, the Tijuana City Hall, headed by Mayoress Montserrat Caballero Ramírez, concluded with the activities carried out as part of the «Education Week 2023», an event in which more than 1,400 students from the 14 schools that make up the Municipal Public Education Secretariat (SEPM) participated.

During this week, students from the 10 elementary schools, 3 middle schools and the high school that make up the municipal education system had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the programs offered by the Ministry of Education, such as: Psychopedagogy, Mexican Sign Language, Technological Education, English, Extracurricular Activities, the Integral Educational Program, and Physical Education, among others.

During the «Education Week», 12 modules were installed with recreational activities aimed at students, according to their educational level, which were carried out in collaboration with institutions such as the Interactive Museum El Trompo, Ecoparque, Emma A. de Bustamante Foundation, the State Electoral Institute (IEE), the National Electoral Institute (INE), as well as the Municipal Institute of Art and Culture (IMAC), and the Municipal Institute of Sports of Tijuana (IMDET).

The Municipal Secretary of Education installed six modules on topics such as the history of Tijuana, general culture, mathematics, science, geography, subjects in which children learn through games, competitions, lottery, experiments, and others.

The rest of the stands are part of the collaboration of institutions dedicated to promote environmental care, human rights, animal care, values, dignified treatment of the elderly, physical activation, as well as the promotion of summer camps that this year will be free for Tijuana’s children, in addition to reading, among other topics, such as the State Electoral Institute (IEE) and the National Electoral Institute (INE), which conducted an activity in which students simulate their participation in the elections.
