Mayoress of Acapulco, Abelina López, obtains 245 million pesos for bay cleanup / @AbelinaLopezR @Acapulco >>>

#Acapulco, #Gro.- As a result of the efforts of the municipal president, Abelina López Rodríguez, before the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, 245 million pesos were allocated for eight priority works that will help the sanitation of the bay, La Sabana River and Diamond Zone of Acapulco.

As a follow-up, the president, Abelina López, led a supervisory tour together with the Acapulco Municipal Water and Sewage Commission (CAPAMA), the Water, Sewage and Sanitation Commission of the State of Guerrero (CAPASEG) and the National Water Commission (CONAGUA), in the areas where the works will be carried out, as part of the «Proagua 2023» program that will be executed in this fiscal year with federal, state and municipal participation.

The tour began at the point known as «7 esquinas», where they uncovered sewers to show the condition of the pipes. This point covers the rehabilitation of the Caleta collector between Cuauhtémoc Avenue and 5 de Mayo Street, and an investment of 30 million pesos is foreseen.

Later, the mayoress, Abelina López, and the officials toured the Aguas Blancas wastewater treatment plant, where 15 million pesos will be invested to replace equipment in the pumping sump and settling basin.

The first stage of the work includes the rehabilitation of the Papagayo collector, with an investment of 79 million pesos.

Finally, the delegation moved to Costera Miguel Alemán, at the height of Los Deportes street, where the third stage of the rehabilitation of the Nao Trinidad sewer, between Cuauhtémoc – Los Deportes avenue – Farallón streets, will be carried out.
