#EstadoDeNuevoLeón.- At a meeting with the Business Coordinating Council in México City, Governor Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda called on businessmen and the government to take advantage of the global economic conditions to attract foreign investment to our country.

The State Governor pointed out that the attraction of ‘tractor’ investments such as Tesla, allow our country to look for the whole chain of suppliers, as has happened with Nuevo Leon in the last few months.

«Today everything looks like ‘nearshoring’ and if we do well and Mexico takes advantage of the opportunity, this ‘nearshoring’ can also last another 20 years, until 2040, then we do need as a country, in these issues, to leave politics behind, leave the differences, we need water, energy, security and bet on it, not to compete, but to bet on it because there is going to be so much spillover that the numbers will be secondary as to who imported or exported more,» said the Governor.

«The more we know what Sonora is doing, what Chihuahua is doing, the more each one of us will distinguish ourselves in something important, a vocation that in this case I tell you, Nuevo León is betting on electromobility», he pointed out.

So far this year, Nuevo León has managed to attract 20 billion dollars in investment, which is reflected in new and better jobs for the people of Nuevo León.

Mr. García Sepúlveda informed the businessmen that this year alone, more than 58 thousand new jobs have been created in the state.
