Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue, continues investment tour in Asia: visits Hiroshima / @diegosinhue @gobiernogto >>>

#EstadoDeGuanajuato.- During the second week of the ‘Investment Tour 2023, More Guanajuato in Asia’, the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, met with authorities from Hiroshima Prefecture and visited the Mazda plant where he greeted the Guanajuato talent in training.

The Governor met with the global president of Mazda Motor Corporation, Kiyotaka Shobuda, who thanked the Governor for the hospitality of Guanajuato with the company, leader in the automotive industry, which in the last year has invested 60 million dollars in the Salamanca plant.

The Guanajuato delegation visited the Mazda Museum where classic pieces of the brand and passages of its corporate history are exhibited.

The Governor met with young people from Guanajuato who work for Mazda and are in training at the headquarters plant; they are young people from Irapuato, Salamanca, Valle de Santiago, Villagrán and Juventino Rosas, among other municipalities, who will be in Hiroshima training to later do the same at the Salamanca plant.

«I feel very proud to see how they are working and are bettering themselves; 30 years ago this was unthinkable, that young people from Guanajuato would work in world-class companies and come to train in countries like Japan, that is a source of pride.

«We are growing and that is the true sense of coming on these trips to bring more companies, of global quality, to Guanajuato,» said the Governor.
