#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- Fulfilling his commitment to support young students, municipal president Mauricio Trejo awarded 350 scholarships to encourage excellence, with an investment of more than 5 million pesos, the largest statewide scholarship for students.

Before more than 1,100 young people, accompanied by their families, Mauricio Trejo encouraged the young people to complete their academic education: «Throughout my life I have encountered many challenges and fortunately I believe in everything that has been said here, that study is basic to success, that study is the key to success, and that you must have confidence in yourself because if not, you do not reach the end of the road to success and you, being students of excellence, are already on the road to success, but you will encounter many obstacles».

For this 2023, the Excellence Stimulus Scholarship, which is coordinated by the Instituto Municipal de Atención a la Juventud Sanmiguelense (Imajsma), increased the fee from $2 500 to $5 000, being an investment of more than 5 million pesos which makes it the largest scholarship in the state for students; likewise, the delivery will be distributed three times a year (before it was twice).

«I am very pleased with what you are doing for you, but I am very proud of what your parents are doing for you and I am very satisfied with what Genaro and the councilmen are doing for you, if we all do our part we will continue to be in the best places in the world, we will continue to have young people with excellence and I told them, while you do that, I will make sure that there are healthy finances (to continue giving scholarships)» said the San Miguel municipal president.
