#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- With the firm commitment to keep Boca del Río in optimal conditions prior to the rainy season, Mayor Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, informed that since the beginning of this year, cleaning, drainage and sewer rehabilitation works have been carried out.

The preventive actions are carried out through the Urban Maintenance, Public Works, Public Cleaning and the Boca del Río Water Company (CAB).

«We are working in parallel with the cleaning of storm drains and drainage intakes to prevent flooding, work that is carried out permanently in the city; we are preparing for the rainy season, which is important,» emphasized the mayor.

Mr. Unánue Abascal emphasized that in addition to maintaining a clean city, the impact of meteorological phenomena and their effects, such as the rains, will prevent major damage to the municipality.

At this stage, 29 points of the city will be attended through the «Storm Sewer Maintenance Program 2023», carrying out preventive and rehabilitation tasks every day from the beginning of the year to date.
