SICT Secretary Jorge Nuño Lara supervises works on Line 4 of Guadalajara’s Light Rail Line / @jorgenunol @SCT_mx >>>

#SICT.- The Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), Jorge Nuño Lara, supervised the works of Line 4 of the Light Train in Guadalajara and the progress of the Master Plan for the modernization and expansion of the International Airport of the capital city of Jalisco.

Accompanied by the Governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, the head of the SICT toured the Workshops and Garages yard of the Tlajomulco Station km 286+820 and the Adolf Horn Station km 272+612, which will benefit more than 275,000 inhabitants of the region by providing a modern, efficient, safe and environmentally friendly transportation system.

Nuño Lara learned in detail about the high technology of this means of transportation, which will allow users to save time with greater travel safety and comfort.

Among the technological features of this new light rail line is a capacity for 272 passengers (52 seated and 220 standing) and it will run at a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour.

The train will have 6 stations and 2 terminals: Las Juntas, Periférico Sur, Adolf Horn, Concepción del Valle, San Sebastián, La Fortuna, Centro Universitario and Tlajomulco Centro.

It should be recalled that on December 19, 2022, the head of the SICT gave the starting signal for the works of Line 4 of the Guadalajara Light Railway.

During his working tour of the state, Secretary Nuño Lara also supervised the progress of the Master Plan for the modernization and expansion of the Guadalajara International Airport.
