Mexican government attends to fire on Pemex platform, says president López Obrador / @lopezobrador_ @GobiernoMX >>>

#GobiernoDeMéxico.- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador informed that the Mexican Government is attending to the victims and their families of the fire that occurred early Friday morning at the Nohoch-A Link Platform off the coasts of Tabasco and Campeche.

In a morning press conference, the President confirmed the evacuation of personnel at the site, where public servants from Petróleos Mexicanos and the Secretariat of the Navy are working.

The federal agencies will reinforce the search for missing workers and attend to the injured.

«A hug to all Pemex workers and their families,» he said.

Through a press release, Pemex informed that 328 workers were working on the production platform, of which 321 were evacuated with the support of seven vessels. So far, six people have been reported injured.
