#EstadoDeGuerrero.- Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda headed the session of the Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace, to evaluate the results of the state’s pacification strategy and to prepare the Summer Security Operation 2023, in order to guarantee visitors free transit and a pleasant stay in the tourist destinations offered by the state of Guerrero.

From the facilities of the Ninth Military Region in Acapulco, the state governor with commanders of the National Defense, Navy, National Guard, as well as State Police, Attorney General’s Office and intelligence institutions, fine-tuned the details of the strategy of the special operation for the summer holiday season.

The governor said that the priority will be the safety of the population and also of the tourists who will visit by air or land the destinations of Acapulco, Ixtapa – Zihuatanejo and Taxco, as well as the tourist vacation municipalities of both coasts of the entity, so she asked the institutions to reinforce the coordination work with the municipal governments.

The Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace agreed to establish effective communication between the institutions in order to make the reaction to any situation that may arise during this holiday season more efficient, in addition to reinforcing crime prevention and surveillance actions on highways to inhibit criminal acts in high priority areas.
