#Acapulco, #Gro.- At the instruction of Mayoress Abelina López Rodríguez, the Acapulco Municipal Potable Water and Sewerage Commission (CAPAMA) began work on the replacement of 100 meters of main pumping pipe to address the water shortage in the area.

The person in charge of the office, Hugo Lozano Hernandez, informed that the pipe had reached its useful life and was generating multiple leaks, therefore, with these works, the water supply will be improved and 25 thousand inhabitants will benefit.

Operational personnel carried out the replacement of this eight-inch diameter asbestos pipe. In stage 55 of this housing unit, work was done on the excavation to lay the first section that will provide an outlet for wastewater and prevent the collapse of manholes.

On the other hand, the brigades cleared three manholes on Cortijo Street on Las Naciones Boulevard, and the main line of Diente de León and Jazmín Streets was also stripped. Drainage work was also carried out on the main avenue in the town of San Agustín and on Tambuco Street, where 18 meters of rebar were drilled in the sanitary network.
