#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Government of the State of Mexico informs that the transition meetings between the teams of Governor Alfredo Del Mazo Maza and the Governor-Elect for the 2023-2029 term, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, continue to progress, and today they held a new meeting to address issues related to the state’s health sector.

In this second meeting, which is part of a series of meetings scheduled for the months of July and August, the Governor-Elect was presented with the current panorama of the health sector in the state, including the situation of the Instituto de Seguridad Social del Estado de México y Municipios (ISSEMyM).

In the Guadalupe Victoria Hall, located in the Government Palace, the Secretary of Health, Francisco Fernández Clamont, and the General Director of ISSEMyM, José Arturo Lozano Enríquez, provided detailed information on the challenges faced by the most populated entity in the country in terms of health, and explained the strategies that currently allow offering attention to the families of the State of Mexico with a system of wide coverage, modern, accessible and attended by professionals.

In this second work meeting, the state president emphasized the importance of bringing health services closer to families and providing professionals with adequate and safe facilities.
