Subsequently, two more sectors by the end of December and with the idea that by the first quarter of next year, the remaining sector of the work will be completed in its entirety,» he emphasized.

In the Treasury Room of the National Palace, the Chief Executive explained that, in its stage of greatest demand and once completed in the first quarter of next year, the Trolleybus is expected to serve approximately 230,000 passengers daily, benefiting the municipalities of Chalco, Valle de Chalco and La Paz, to the Santa Martha terminal in Iztapalapa, Valle de Chalco and La Paz, with destination to the Santa Martha terminal, in the Iztapalapa mayor’s office, and that this system will reduce travel time from two hours to 45 minutes with stops at each station and to 33 minutes in the express mode without stopping at all stations.

«We would go from a journey of practically two hours to get from one zone to another, to a journey of 45 minutes, in the case of the normal service, that is to say, that stops at each station, to 33 minutes in the express service, which is the one that goes continuously and does not stop at all stations.
