GEM officializes upper secondary school calendar for the 2023-2024 school year / @alfredodelmazo @Edomex >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- The Government of the State of Mexico, headed by Alfredo Del Mazo Maza, published through the Official Gazette the calendar of Higher Secondary Education for the 2023-2024 school year, which establishes August 21 as the starting date of the semester.

Through the Ministry of Education, headed by Gerardo Monroy Serrano, the calendar of activities for those who will study General High School, Technological High School and Community Telebachillerato is being complied with.

According to the programmed dates, high school students who have obtained their admission pass must officially register at the campus where they were selected from August 16 to 18; formal classes will begin on Monday, August 21 and the semester will conclude on Thursday, January 25, 2024.

The school calendar establishes that classes will be suspended at these high schools on November 2 and 20, 2023; as well as on February 5, March 18, and May 1 and 15, 2024.

The first vacation period for students is scheduled from December 20, 2023 to January 4, 2024; while the second vacation period, corresponding to Easter Week, will take place from March 25 to April 5, 2024.

Likewise, the calendar marks Thursday, February 1, 2024 as the beginning of the second semester of the school year and July 9 of the same year as the end of classes.
