Federal and state governments of Veracruz present incentives to attract investment to the Istmo / @CuitlahuacGJ @GobiernoVer >>>

#EstadoDeVeracruz.- The governors of Veracruz, Cuitláhuac García Jiménez; of Oaxaca, Salomón Jara Cruz and the Secretary of Economy, Raquel Buenrostro Sánchez, presented the tax incentive package to the business sector interested in establishing themselves in the Development Poles for the Wellbeing of the Inter-Oceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.

In order to stimulate the relocation of companies and attract investment, Veracruz will grant a 100% incentive in the first three fiscal years and a 50% incentive the following three fiscal years when paying taxes on payroll, vehicle ownership or use, vehicle acquisition, promotion of education and the right to use, enjoyment, use or exploitation of public property.

In addition, Mr. García Jiménez stated that they will be exempted from the costs of the procedures they have to carry out, according to the item, in the Secretariats of Finance and Planning, Government, Health, Civil Protection, Environment, Social Development and the State Water Commission.

Through the Secretariat of Economic and Port Development, the Regulatory Framework was adapted to focus on investments and streamline the paperwork. In addition, the Investment Promotion Commission was created to provide follow-up and support, almost personalized; in Coatzacoalcos there is a single window for the Isthmus.

The federal government has the Coatzacoalcos I, Coatzacoalcos II, San Juan Evangelista, Texistepec and San Blas Atempa poles in bidding; hence the Secretary of Economy pointed out that on November 17th the companies that offer the greatest investment, number of jobs and the best salaries will win the contest, she also explained that Veracruz and Oaxaca will be treated as a single territory.
