SEMUJER gives workshop on women’s and children’s rights in the mountain community / @EvelynSalgadoP @Gob_Guerrero >>>

#EstadoDeGuerrero.- The Secretariat for Women, through the Support Program for Women’s Instances in the Federal Entities (PAIMEF) 2023, gave a workshop on the rights of women, girls and adolescents in the community of El Morro, municipality of Heliodoro Castillo.

The training was provided by the PAIMEF Itinerant Guidance Unit, made up of a team of specialists composed of a psychologist, a social worker and a lawyer, with the aim of making women, adolescents and men aware of their rights and thus consolidate actions to ensure equality between men and women.

On behalf of the head of the Secretariat for Women, Violeta Pino Girón, attended by the Undersecretary for the Promotion and Participation of Women, Arbelia Arteaga Arteaga, who expressed the interest of Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda to continue promoting actions that allow women and children to live a life free of violence.

She added that the activity was for women, adolescents and men, and consisted of informing them of their rights, which they all have to change, the culture from childhood and how to continue educating their children without prejudice.

In addition, there were playful activities for girls and boys, through dynamics, they were made to know the parts of their body and the rights that all girls and boys have.
