#IMSS.- The exhibition «Past, present and future of the Mexican Social Security Institute» is open to the public at the Pino Suárez Metro station of the Collective Transportation System in Mexico City, which reflects 80 years of history that have marked the institution and the entire population.

The technical secretary of the Committee for the 80th Anniversary of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), Jorge Marengo Camacho, informed that this exhibition is made up of photographs, books, documents and information on programs carried out by the institution.

Marengo Camacho emphasized that although the exhibition at Metro Pino Suarez is the largest at national level, photographic exhibitions are being taken to the whole country. «The aim is for IMSS to reach out to our people and for them to feel proud of their history. When they see the exhibition, they should be proud to have the largest social security institute in Latin America.

He explained that this exhibition is a journey through the eight decades of life of the IMSS, where the different sister areas that make it up and have accompanied it throughout time, such as the National Union of Social Security Workers (SNTSS), Afore Siglo-XXI, IMSS Volunteers, IMSS-Bienestar and the Inter-American Conference on Social Security (CISS), among others, could not be missing.
