#Ecatepec, #Edoméx.- The president of the municipal DIF system of Ecatepec, Esmeralda Vallejo Martínez held a cordial meeting with the governor-elect of the State of México, Delfina Gomez Alvarez, during the XL Ordinary Sectional Congress of the National Union of Social Security Workers, which was held in this municipality.

Vallejo Martínez acknowledged Gómez Álvarez’s commitment to providing quality medical services to citizens and to the workers who work at the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), who do their best to improve the quality of the medical services provided by the institution.

She also pledged to continue promoting medical attention to the population that lacks social security, through the various services and facilities available to the municipal DIF system of Ecatepec.

Under the slogan «Social Security National Patrimony», Gómez Álvarez arrived at the sports center of the IMSS workers union, Punzo Gaona, located in the Jardines de Santa Clara neighborhood, where she said that the workers of this institution will have another sports center, so she will begin to see the land for its construction.

She said: «There is no doubt that IMSS still has many, many challenges to overcome and I hope that in the next few years we can have the sports center they want and a pool like the one I just saw, which is a very good pool and I hope that in the near future these works can begin».

The governor-elect pledged her support for the institution and the municipality to have a better health service and even better conditions in the schools and thus dignify such services.

«A quality service not only in health, but also in education in each and every one of the services that can be offered, but I know that undoubtedly it also depends on the government to give them what is necessary to exercise and give them that good service,» said Gomez Alvarez, who during her message sent a greeting to Mayor Fernando Vilchis Contreras.

The president of Ecatepec’s DIF reiterated the leadership and vision of Delfina Gómez in ensuring the welfare of workers and all Ecatepenses.
