Regularization of foreign vehicles ends on September 30: SSPC / @lopezobrador_ @GobiernoMX >>>

#GobiernoDeMéxico.- The regularization program for vehicles of foreign origin that is currently being implemented in 17 states of the Republic will conclude on September 30, announced the Secretary for Citizen Security and Safety, Rosa Icela Rodríguez Velázquez.

In a morning press conference with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, she detailed that one million 653 thousand 440 vehicles have been regularized from March 19, 2022 to July 24, 2023 in 164 modules installed. The resources collected amount to 4 thousand 133 million 600 thousand pesos.

They are directly destined to the paving of streets in the participating states: Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Puebla, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa, Sonora, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala and Zacatecas.

They accounted for 52 percent of the regularizations: Tamaulipas, with 295,468 registrations in 12 modules; Chihuahua, with 286,510 and 21 modules; and Baja California, with 278,96 and 10 modules.
