Social Security promotes PrevenIMSS strategy in its Vacation Program 2023 / @zoerobledo @Tu_IMSS >>>

#IMSS.- Authorities from the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and the National Union of Social Security Workers (SNTSS) inaugurated the 2023 Vacation Program for the children of IMSS workers, which promotes the PrevenIMSS strategy through promotion, prevention, detection and sports activities in all the states for more than 19 thousand children who attend the vacation program.

At the «Felix Azuela» Social Security Center, located in Tlatelolco, Mexico City, the Director of Medical Benefits of the IMSS, Dr. Celida Duque Molina, pointed out that this activity has been carried out for more than four decades, and for this year it required a joint work of four months in order to benefit almost 20 thousand girls and boys from all over the country.

He emphasized that promotional interventions will be carried out through Nursing modules in Prevention and Health Promotion, Nutrition with a focus on healthy eating, Stomatology oriented to oral health care, Social Work with the ChiquitiMSS and JuvenIMSS strategy; application of vaccines, weight and height measurement, among others.

«The objective of this collaborative and permanent work between the union representation and Social Security is to carry out prevention and care in every corner of the country, as instructed by the IMSS general director, Zoé Robledo, in medical units at the three levels of care, schools and companies,» she emphasized.

In her message, Nayeli Fernández Bobadilla, secretary for Substantive Equality of the SNTSS National Executive Committee (CEN), pointed out that simultaneously in various union offices around the country, the inauguration of the vacation programs was held, which are carried out during the summer vacation period for the enjoyment and wellbeing of the families of IMSS workers.
