#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- As a result of the rain that recently fell throughout the municipal territory, the Municipal Administration activated its security and cleanup protocols to protect the population of San Miguel.

Following the indications of Municipal President Mauricio Trejo, the Municipality headed by the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) carried out supervision, containment and cleanup operations throughout the early hours of Friday morning that lasted until Saturday, to safeguard both the integrity of the sanmiguelenses, as well as their patrimony.

Because of this rain, considered «extraordinary» in San Miguel since it accumulated 115 liters per square meter and generated more than 100 temporary disasters, the municipal departments of Public Services and Quality of Life, Infrastructure and Public Works, Civil Protection and other Public Administration agencies as well as the Drinking Water and Sewage System (Sapasma), They got down to work from the very first effects and continued late into the night on Friday to leave the affected streets and areas in the best conditions for the safety and mobility of the people, as well as to receive tourism during the weekend.
